This is a quote from the 3.4 cheat codes. So why are there
posts complaining that booting 3.4 from floppy is not
supported? Am I missing something?

perpahs there no longer is a floppy image?
main purpose of the floppy image was to serve as a boot-image for bootable cdrom, and not as a diskette image which you could write to a real diskette.

Now that Isolinux is used as cd-bootloader, instead of Syslinux, there no longer is a floppy.img file

not too difficult recreating these floppy-images, I think.
