I am having a USB issue with Fedora Core 2 on my laptop (which uses kernel 2.6.5). Fortunately (or unfortunately) Knoppix 3.4 (that also uses kernel 2.6.5) works fine on the same hardware.

Where can I get the source tarball (and config file) for the kernel as provided in the Knoppix 3.4 CD? I'd like to compile it and run it within my Fedora Core 2 box try to figure out my USB issue.

(Reply by email to fulko.hew at sita.int would be appreciated.)

TIA

Grab the source from www.kernel.org and then in /usr/src apply the patch 'knoppix-kernel26.patch' . Have fun.
