Hi,
I very often use xmms to listen to radio-stations. I experienced that after some time the sounds stop and noticed that xmms has freezed to the desktop. The only thing left is a reboot. This happens many times, always when using the 2.6 kernel. Its no problem with the 2.4 kernel. I also have experienced this with other distr. in combination with the 2.6 kernel. I wonder of other users also have experienced this?
