Dear Friends,
iwconfig shows wireless card attached to gateway
cannot ping gateway
obviously, cannot surf net

Cannot save or print out data, as laptop is ntfs xp dual boot, and printer is on network.

Whilst I am impressed that the prsim 54 card works flawless, that in and of itself proveides no network.

Laptop connects to residential gateway vie dhcp. gateway does all ppoe, etc, to cable modem.

What am I missing, please/

Have you tried using wlcardconfig? Try running that as root.
