Knoppix-3.4 and Vmware-4.0.5

I am trying Knoppix-3.4 boot under VMware-4.0 workstation on Windoz-XP box.

I can boot the system when kernel-2.4.26 is used.

I fails when kernel chosen is knoppix26 (2.6.5), is it a known issue? Is there
a work around for this?

Try hitting Ctrl+D to bring up the "Virtual Machine Control Panel," click on the "Options" tab, click on "Advanced," and make sure the checkbox next to "Disable acceleration" is checked.

--Anybody know if this also applies to vmware 3.x, and not only 4.x?
