Here are the instructions to install XPde

Hello friend, to use XPde follow my rules:

!!! Come installare XPDE by REY22 !!!

1) Extract all files in your home directory
tar xvzf xpdeXXXXXXX.tar.gz
1) Create a folder XPde under /usr/local/bin as root
mkdir /usr/local/bin/XPde
2) Copy the content of the directory on your home directory to /usr/local/bin/XPde
cp -R ./XPdeXXXXX /usr/local/bin/XPde
3) Execute the install script
./install.sh
4) As a normal user, execute the setup.sh script
./setup.sh
5) Now rename the file xinitrcDEFAULT in your directory to .xsession

6) Logout and re-login choosing the PREDEFINED ambient (you'll be in XPDE)

OSS: I don't know how to add the voice in KDM "XPde", but loading the default windows manager will load XPde (as said)

It works with XPde 0.4.2
For XPde 0.5 I think you should copy the files in the directory of v 0.4.2... but then you can't change the theme.. and so it is useless

XPDE is a little bit BUGGY :(
