Assuming you mean booting off the CD, you wouldn't even have to remaster anymore; simply edit /boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg.

boot into a dos console with access to cd drive
put a linux26.bat on c: containing
@loadlin.exe /path_cd/linux26 initrd=/path_cd/minirt26.gz
vga=791 rw lang=cn

path_cd == cdrom/boot/isolinux
lang=cn joke !
loadlin.exe v1.6 or linld.com work well both
this way ,you don't even need to reburn a new cd with isolinux.cfg modified !

i have made by a another way :

i install synaptic
install all of gnome with synaptic
session with gnome
you have a pgr to adjust the time remaining and the default choice for booting

(my language is french from belgium)
