When I use the 2.6 kernel the frame rate in anything using opengl through DRI drops significantly. From say a steady 100fps in supertux to in the 50's. Even software mode is slower by about the same margin. My usb harddrive completely chokes when XMMS is attempting to read files to find out song titles and what not. Does anyone have any idea why this could be?
