Knoppix 3.3 vid card not compatiable...

ok i have knoppix 3.3 and i tried to run it on my spare computer:
pentium mmx 200 mhz
128 mb
S3 Virge Dx/Gx 375/395 video card
it goes great until it tries to load Xserver...says it cannot support Xserver and gives me a text port....any known issues for that video card?
