lufsmount problem

I am using the knoppix 3.4 5-17 release.

I am having a problem with lufsmount. I try to use the sshfs (or any for that matter) and I get an error:
liblufs-sshfs.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
unsupported file system: sshfs

using the following command

lufsmount sshfs://heathpitts@192.168.220.250 /mnt/ssh


Am I doing something wrong?

locate liblufs-sshfs.so
