I know it's not as much fun but is there somewhere documented a generalized procedure for installing drivers for hardware that Knoppix yet can't recognize so they will be identified and loaded at Knoppix startup time? (presuming one can find the appropriate linux drivers.) I would much rather use this system (LINUX) than learn it's intricaces with each new turn of the crank and Knoppix seems a major advance in that direction. Still there is a need for a user to have a simpleminded way of adding their unique hardware without becoming an expert in the UNIX ways of the world. (Most of us, it happens, are simpleminded thus the need) :roll:
