View Full Version : Error while doing "apt-get install xinetd"

Greating!

Afte installed 3.4, tried to "apt-get install xinetd" and got error message:

Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package xinetd is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package xinetd has no installation candidate

Any ideas?

apt-cache search xinetd
ipsvd - Internet protocol service daemons
rlinetd - gruesomely over-featured inetd replacement
webmin-xinetd - xinetd control module for webmin
xinetd - replacement for inetd with many enhancements


Should be available.....here's my sources.list:
