I'm running CORBA (Mico) on Knoppix live CD.
There should be some service not be started as in Red Hat works.
When I try nsd (a CORBA service) I get:
root@ttyp0[mico]# coss/naming/nsd ORBIIOPAddrnet:192.168.1.11:8889
uncaught MICO exception: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/INITIALIZE:1.0 (0, not-completed)
Aborted
Where 192.168.1.11 is a Win that runs the naming service.
Also the log from ethereal is available at www.krl.it/~mune/personal/pkg/pkgdata_knoppix.dat (pkgdata_RedHat.dat for Red Hat) captured during the CORBA login (in the logs the client is a machine with Win whose name is saturn and whose address is 192.168.1.3).
Thanks in advance
