Knoppix goes into loop trying to load X

Hello,

I run into the following problem running Knoppix:

About once every 3-4 cold boots, the boot fails.
It reaches the screen with the background image and at the stage where it writes Loading The Desktop it goes back a text mode screen where it sais:
/etc/init.d/xsession aborted line 202: 6728 Aborted
xsession terminated without errors
it than tries to load X again with different resolutions, but the error repeats ( but with other numbers than 6728 ), and it goes into an infinite loop of retrying to load X and the desktop.

Any help?
