hello i have installed knoppix 3.4 with kernel 2.6 in my new machine all are good but problem with resoluition i ant resoultion changing
i tr :cry: yed with desktop tools what should i do plz help me :!:

Try this, please:

Start a root shell in KDE (penguin, root shell).
Type kxconfig and choose the screen resolution. Quit kxconfig.
Restart the X server via <CTRL><ALT><BACKSPACE>.
