hi.
i use an amilo m 7400 with the same card an have the same problem (with 2.6 kernel too)
edit:
8. With Kernel 2.4, ipw2100 doesn't support the radio kill switch of Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M 7400 notebooks whereas, according to http://rfswitch.sourceforge.net a solution exist. With Kernel 2.6 ipw2100 simply doesn't work at all, the wifi card isn't detected (on the same computer). (Julien)
foudn this a moment ago. it seems that the wlan itself should be working.
BUT WHAT DID I DO WRONG ???
THX
FYI, it appears the 5-17-2004 version of Knoppix has Centrino driver problems and won't work. The 5-10-2004 version may work. For more info, see my July 6th post in: http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11459
