How does KNOPPIX 3.4 boot exactly

does anyone know exactly how knoppix 3.4 boots?

and inside the /boot/isolinux on the cd does anyone know what the linux24 aand linux26 are?

I believe those are kernel binaries.

It boots in a similar way to previous Knoppixes just that isolinux is a little easier to manage your kernels and boot options than syslinux, and it allows for a larger bootimage so you can just barely cram in 2 kernels instead of 1.
