Monitor goes black

When I try to install Knoppix ,T ux comes up and then my monitor goes blank. Knoppix works fine with my other computer and newer monitor, Both computers are set to boot from the CD. :?:

Even though your problem doesn't sound "exactly" like this other topic, I am guessing you just aren't getting the same message that this other topic is getting, the same situation still applies, and also the same resolve...
