Now that Sun's Project Looking Glass has been open-sourced...

...is anyone up to the task of putting together a Knoppix remaster with it? Now THAT would be an awesome Linux demo CD to wow everyone with. :o

That would require the ATI and Nvidia drivers on the CD (which imho would be a good idea anyway but seems to be "politically incorrect").

The open source Ati drivers already included in Knoppix support 3d accelerated OpenGL graphics. I use them with my Ati cards; they work well enough for me even if maybe they aren't as good as Ati's official drivers.

However, there might be some "politically incorrect" issues with Java.
