I am a university student doing some work on Ethereal, and need a version of linux that lives on and can be booted off a zip disk, has Ethereal, has a cc compiler, and GTK libs. It must of course also have a GUI and be internet enabled. Does anybody know of a version of knoppix or any type of linux that would be suitable?
