Hi there,
I am no LINUX/KNOPPIX newbie, nevertheless I have a question concerning the installation of the latest release of Knoppix.
During the installation on a 2,2 GByte harddrive on a PC with 1024 MByte RAM, thus no swap space is required, everything performs flawlessly.
As soon as I want to login the first time, KDE refuses to accept my username/password; the only way to log-on to the GUI is as root. On a console however I can log-in with username(!=root) and password.
Any suggestions, explanations or solution to this phenomenon?
Thank you very much in advance
