knx-hdinstall does nothing at root console

Trying to install knoppix to hard drive and the command knx-hdinstall does not work or do anything. Get line that say 'bash: knx-hdinstall not recognized' or something similar.

Can anyone help with this problem? I'm at the root trying the install and it is not working. Tried looking for help through google but no luck.

Also, what is the root console password?
