View Full Version : Tecra M1 colours

When booting Knoppix 3.4 (downloaded a few days ago so probably the latest version) on my Toshiba Tecra M1 laptop, the screen colours are all wrong, so whilst the screens image is readable and not skewed or distorted in any way, because the colours are completely different from what they should be I can't comfortably use it. This problem does not occur in Windows or bash, just within the xserver environment. Here are the lspci and lspci -n results:

I don't understand much of that because I'm just a lowly college student but hopefully it'll be of use to you!

And yes I first listed this as a Tecra 8000 laptop, well I've just checked on the bottom and it's a Tecra M1  (http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/Contents/Toshiba_uk/EN/Others/TecraM1_Datasheet.pdf)

Now that I've correctly identified the laptop I found the solution in the Laptop section http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=46079#46079 thanks for everyone who's looked though.
