When I compile and install KWin window decorations/styles I get an error. I think the error roughly means that I don't have the Kwin Window Manager installed. Could this be? Doesn't knoppix/KDE inculde KWin? Some KWin decos/styles compile without errors or problems but I still can't see them in the Window Decorations/Style sections in the Conrol Center. I'm running knoppix3.1.
