Hi, first of all, let me point out that im not a experience linux user at all, but im getting the hang of it.. but then...
i installed knoppix on my laptop (running 2.6.6 kernel, hangs on 2.4.x) i need to compile some stuff, some driver loader for use with my wlan, but it asks for the kernel source, im aware that itīs not there, but my question is:
how can i "install" my kernel source, and what is that kernel-header thing about?
is it possible just to apt-get the same kernel version as the system is running and place the folder in the right place ? and if it is, where is the right place ?
im sorry, im very bad at english, wich make manual reading a living hell for me...
