ma311 prism problems

Hi, I been running knoppix for a few days now and i cannot get any link quality on the card. I do iwconfig and see that the link quality is zero out of 92. Signal is 107/153 and Noise is 107/153. My card is a Netgear MA311ge. The mode is set to Managed and "Prism I" appears as the nickname. I also tried to do pump after wlan config in knoppix but it fails.
Not sure what to do?
