Help please with CD drive

Is there any possible way to eject the Knoppix CD to be able to use K3b to burn myself a cd? Windows is screwed and there are several large files i need to rescue so i thought i'd try this... any help would be appreciated

You can load knoppix into ram and run it from there instead of the cd. This requires a LOT of ram though.

or you could use damn small linux and load to ram (256 Mb min iirc)

DSL is actually less than 50MB! This can fit on a 50MB credit card CDR or a 185/210MB 8cm CDR!

There are small versions of KNOPPIX that don't fit on a credit card CD like Feather Lite which is about 160MB I think.

Thanks for the help. I didnt have enough ram to use "toram" but i was looking through the cheatcodes and used "tohd=/dev/hda1" and it worked perfectly. Now i can burn the cd :D
