I was surprised to see that the flash installer is still broken for the latest Knoppix release( v3.4 05/17/04 ). It's a simple fix in that one text file needs editing and a "6" needs to be changed to a "7". The file is:
/usr/share/knx-installer/modules/flash/files ( from memory )
The ftp file is looking for version 6 of the flash plugin while Macromedia has updated that to version 7 quite some time ago.
BTW, the new software installer is pretty nice and I'm thinking that it could be the start of a really nice deployment customizer. This is, if it could be pointed to a network device/system for added software packages/configurations. I'll try to look at this more closely this week and post any updates/thoughts on this.
