Shuttle problems

Can't get Knoppix to completely boot on my Shuttle. It's an older one with AMD XP2000 processor. It 3/4 boots, then the screen goes blank and it looks like Knoppix is still loading, but doesn't go anywhere.

Anyone had similar problems?
