Change my picture (face)?

When I goto user account and try to change my picture I am told- Your administrator has disallowed changing your face. How can I do this?

Hey rrfish;

Just open KMenu> System> KUser and log in as root.

You need to use your admin privileges to do this, and the OS will only query your group status when entering KUser, not when you enter the Control Center.
