how knoppix automount existent partitions?

Hi all.
I need know how knoppix when start up detect existents PC hard disk's partitions, add lines to fstab and after show a icon in a kde desktop.
I have morphix and i need add these function: show a icon in a desktop to easy mount the hard disk partitions.
