Hi all - Knoppix n00b here. I just ran Knoppix and I went to to Wavelan (?) to see if it would detect my wirelann card but it won't, says something about it cannot find a wirelss card or something.

I have a Belkin ADSL modem with built-in 802.11g wireless router and a Pheenet IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Card

any suggestions?

hey, i had the same problem with my card. After searching for a while, i found out that some wireless cards that feature a relatively new chipset will not run in knoppix without installing the drivers. The problem here is that most drivers for the cards are made for Windows, so you have to use a program called ndiswrapper to compile the driver in order for linux to be able to use it. If you download the latest version of Knoppix, ndiswrapper is included.
