Wlan-Card-Problems

Hi all,

i have downloaded the Knoppix-3.6-Iso, and i run it on my Laptop. The laptop has an internal wireless-lan-card, a prism2. The problem is, that the auto-conf for the wlan-card detecteds a card, but after the configuration it still not works. The command "iwconfig" writes, that the card is not ready. How can i make it ready?

Did you try doing it as root.
That is running the command "su" first and then doing iwlist.
the prism2 drivers are the most compatible with knoppix.
