ok im going nuts i cant figur out how to install knoppix to my hdd i looked at the instructions in the Docs section but every time i try to make another partition in the program used buy knoppix install it wont let me i have one primary dos par that is 200mb and the i have 9.8 gb left unpartitioned.
i am realy clueless can someone explane step by step what i have to do thanks

For anybody unfamiliar with linux command but familiar with windows, I suggest to use partition magic.

Just use your unpartition space and create 2 partition:
1) Linux swap = between 250MB to 500MB (if you have 256MB or more ram, 250MB is sufficient)
2) Linux ext3 for the rest of left space.

After above is done, boot using knoppix cd,boot with this cheatcodes :
knoppix26 alsa lang=us
**use alsa if you have soundcard.
When you're in KDE, open konsole and run this:
su
knoppix-installer

Choose Debian like hd install, lilo on mbr.
