I'm using Knoppix v3.6 for harddisk installation on VMWare Workstation 4.5.2 (b8848) on a WinXp Pro SP2 host.
When I start the installing (sudo knoppix installer), the installer detects the empty hdd space and offers to partition the hdd. But when I am going to write a new partition table it simply freezes. The strange thing is that it worked fine two days ago?!
Any Ideas?

Edit (couple of minutes later): qtparted did not like the simulated SCSI harddisk (recommended for Linux installation in VMWare). However, when switching to an IDE simulation it works fine.
