Hi folks!
I use a old lifebook for linux.
this notebook havn't a cdrom to boot from cd.
i need to use the new knoppix version, but i miss the makefloppy tool.
i understand that the vmlinux.gz ist too big to take it on one floppy.
so my question is:
is it possible to copy the vmlinux.gz to the hd and load via cheat?
like the system cheat "knoppix fromhd=/dev/hda1"?
i tried out many versions, but without a working solution.
i hope you can help me.
i think many people have the problem to get bootdisks for the new knoppix versions ...
many thanks
mike
