Problem runnin my old programs

well i installed knoppix live cd but when i want to run some programs like soulseek that i installed under windows xp . The program does not load! could any one give me some suggestion.Thanks

Knoppix is a Linux distro, Soulseek sounds like being a Windows program, doesn't that?
The best you can get is having it to work under Wine, which is not granted. The more a software needs to use hardware at low level, the more unlikely it's gonna work in an emulated environment.
