Hi there,

Had trouble getting knoppix 3.2 to boot into X with 24bpp with the xdepth=24 cheatcode if anyone is interested. :cry:

This seemed to be easily fixed by adding an extra space before the closing square bracket in the following line in mkxf86config...

DEPTH='s|DefaultColorDepth[ ].*|DefaultColorDepth '"$XDEPTH"'|g;'
([tab] [space])

to become...

DEPTH='s|DefaultColorDepth[ ].*|DefaultColorDepth '"$XDEPTH"'|g;'
(([tab] [space] [space])

then remastering for prosperity. :)

HMMmm, posting the previous message seems to have lost the tabs and spaces...

I held off downloading any updates because they have been coming out almost once a day. So I finally give in and grab 03-24 EN and they come out with 03-26 EN.

Oh well...
