how to store WLAN parameter and boot with parameter file

I use a Lucent Orinoco card on a Dell Latitude 850.
Is there a way to boot with the setting for the wlan card not alway to put in
the parameter for wlan manualy?

I think a script with netcardconfig would make it.
Any hint for such?
