script for changing /mnt/hda1 to /mnt

I am new to knoppix and am trying to learn how to write simple script.

I try to write a script that can control the command prompt in the konsole using the Kwrite. However, I was stuck when trying to change the command prompt from /mnt/hda1 to /mnt. Any idea how should the script be?
