newbie, knpooix help carnt see harddrive help!!!

hey im brand spanking new to the whole konppix/linux think im running knoppix from cd and it dosent see my harddrive whats wrong ive checked my comp everything is ok works fine when useing windows im stuck for ideas plz help

Have you changed boot sequence to boot from CD?

I'm assuming you can boot from CD and want to see your hard disk?

What happens when you
# mount /mnt/hda1
# ls /mnt/hda1
