Hi out there,

I am desperate: how do I set up/define an "unusual" LCD-Resolution in an Knoppix 3.7 -HD-Installation environment?
I can't figure this out for the moment - is there any X-Tool included in Knoppix/Debian (I used Mandrake before - there are several helpers to define desired resolutions and similar entries..)

Thanks in advance
Harald

Hi,

Start a session a root and you will get an extra icon (tool/socketwrench).
Somewhere (i'm not near my knoppix hd install right now) you have this util that isn't available or working as a user.

Lookup the advised settings, make and type for your monitor first.

If you can't find it I can look it up exactly tomorrow.

Greetz,

Jepse
