Hello....I am going to be buying a WIRELESS ROUTER & PCMCIA CARD for my Gateway laptop. I run KNOPPIX v. 3.7 ...I shopped around and for about $70 LINKSYS has a combo pcmcia wireless card and wireless/wired router that BEST BUY sells as a kit.
I was also in HOME DEPOT and noticed they have a selection of network hardware, namely BELKIN for a decent price. My question is, has anyone had any luck getting a BELKIN wireless router and pcmcia card to work with knoppix on laptop? ? ? ? ?
:o

It's not the brand that you should be researching for compatability, it is the chipset of the device. Do a bit of googling and there exists a large chipset-linux compatability chart.
