see logo - ok
detecting hardware - ok
after text mode, screen flicking, see color lines, see in the on top green pixels,...... and in result vertical lines - ||||||||| - like this. And machine hangs.
I'm try : xmode=vesa;fbdev , vga=normal, testcd, lspci -v, - only on result.

i'm not a raw newbie in Linux...

My system:
celeron 535,
ram1258,
cdrom Teac,
sound onboard,
video i810 onboard,
monitor adi microscan.

Help...

yes, and no luck

After text phase, become grin lines in top, end 3 knoppix logos (I think) in bag round. After then become white lines and logos bag round, screen flicking,....and as result - hangs.

Download and run MemTest86 3.0 from http://www.MemTest86.com. It creates a bootable floppy or CD-ROM, depending on version. I had the same problem under Windows, it turned out to be defective system RAM. Let us know what you find.

No this is problem - I downloading new image dated 2003-03-28, and this OK. Strange, because md5 checking tell my its ok in both cases.
