I had windows xp pro (fat 32) on my main drive, linux on the second, and 2 other storages drives (ntfs). After installing linux on the second, windows would not boot. I then formatted the xp and linux drive to start over, and just with xp now, my storage drives (hard drives) do not show up anymore in explorer. How can i fix this?

Explorer?!?! Can you see then drives in a GOOD file browser...Konqueror for instance. Use the Knoppix CD. What did you use to fromat the drives? If it was Windows fdisk, perhaps it overwrote everything. If it was Linux fdisk, cfdisk or qtparted, possibly it managed to change the file system type to something Windows can't see.
It is possible to dual boot Linux & XP, check the docs & how tos. If you decide to try it again, make your storage drive vfat instead of ntfs, that way Linux and Windows can both use them.

Chances are, soehow the drives got made hidden. Just go to qtparted, right click on the drive, and uncheck hidden.
