Trouble Booting

When I boot off the cd..... it seems like its booting and then all I see is a gray screen with nothing on it. The cdrom is also not running and Alt-Ctrl Delete wont reboot the computer. Does anyone have any suggestions.

When the PC begins to boot up, do you see a screen like this? http://shots.osdir.com/slideshows/slideshow.php?release=167&slide=1. If so then you can type some codes to help it boot up. (http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/CheatCodes) I would try the following:
knoppix vga=normalOr
knoppix vga=normal screen=800x600 xvrefresh=60Or
knoppix fb800x600
