Sharing a Printer on pure knoppix from CD

Hi,

have searched the forum but all responses relate to HD-Installs....

is there a step by step help somewhere how I can boot a pc with knoppix from CD, configure samba, and share a printer locally attached ?

Ok, did it myself....

mit ein bisschen geduld und spucke..... :lol: :lol:

with the help of the knoppix wiki (http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/FaqSambaQuick) I managed to configure samba.

then I found this (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Debian-and-Windows-Shared-Printing/sharing_with_windows.html) and used it to configure cups and the shared smbprint userid.

First I could see the printer but got an access denied error, I studied the logs for Samba and found some lacking permissions problems, so I did a chmod a+rwx /home/smbprint and that did the trick.
