chris-harry,

why don't you just get doom3?

It sounds like you would like it!

Simple enough request, how bout:

abuse
amphentamine
galaga
mangoquest
monstermasher
wing
defendguin
ninvaders
xinv3d (just downloading it now, but, supposed to be a 3d of Space Invaders :) )

If your into the "old" Sim-City, you can get lincity, its pretty true to the original "purchase" software...

Just some thoughts.

now, thanks to all who suggested games and links, but here comes my second question..

I think, you might try and find this on your own...

apt-cache search something

I have found many "emulators" for like; GameBoy, TRS-80, etc... as well as "emulator" engines for some game technology, like Sierra games... Best bet, see what you can find :)

How about some more LANparty games like the bzflag that's already included. BTW, thanx for the nVidia support. Its such a hassle to knoppix-installer a PC just to install nVidia and bz!

Maybe you could include freecraft, Quake 3 Arena and/or UT2003?

Anyone out there know some really good LANparty games that could be added to this ISO if they remaster again?

TIA,
AJG

How about Legends? It's not open source, but it is free. There's also a Windows version.

If you mean installing Games-Knoppix to your hard drive all you have to to is boot up knoppix with the boot line:

"knoppix lang=en"

then, once everything is done loading, go to the console and type in:

"sudo knoppix-installer"

then just follow the instructions.
