Bot up error msg called grubb

Boot up error

Recently power supply had a short circuit that I had to replace it. When I put the new one it started to boot until it read the memory and the drivers then befoe it enters the operating system it stops at error msg :

GRUBB then a the cursr clicking beside the word grubb and stays there without going into the OS. I never had this eror msg before and am not familiar with it any suggestions please

I assumed you install knoppix to hardisk and your grub mbr.
You need to reinstall grub.
Boot using knoppix cd and run grub in root konsole.
You will see something like this:
grub>
then type:
grub> root(hd*x,*y) **x=your hd,0=first hdd; **y=knoppix partition(where your /boot/grub resides),0=first partition.

grub>setup(hd0)
grub>quit

reboot.
