hello,


i have bought a computer magazine. In the magazine was a knoppix boot disc. I was surprised. I have heared that linux is a great Linux destrubtion. Now i have test knoppix now i thinkl that's great. But i have one problem

i want to safe my configuration.

The magazine says create a Fat Partition
Then you can save your configuration.
(sorry i can't speak good englsh. I hope you can understand what my problem ist

You can save your config just about anwhere, Most people chose a USB keychain drive, or floppy. But a drive formated with a filesystem knoppix can read/write will work just fine. (Like FAT)

When you boot you should see a little penguin picture at the bottom left. Click that then search around for Save config (I think its the top sub-menu)
That should then guide you through.

is fat32 compatibel?
because knoppix can't save it

Edit: i believe that the partition not farmatet was
i have this now does in windows
i try tomorow to save my knoppix configuration
